Description

This walking route connects the open landscape around Pirin Golf & Country Club with the rugged mountainous area of Pirin.
From the outset, it is evident that this is not a flat walk: the route climbs steadily and sometimes steeply, mostly along a forest road and forest path.
After the start, you dive almost immediately into the forest. The path winds its way up between the pines and spruces, slowly but surely gaining altitude. The dense forest creates a peaceful and sheltered atmosphere, which is especially pleasant on hot days.
The climb is constantly noticeable, but nowhere technically difficult – it is mainly a matter of finding your pace.

Halfway up, the forest opens up in a few places. Here you get the first reward of the route: a view over the valley towards Razlog and the surrounding villages.
These open spaces invite you to take a break and see how quickly you have risen above the landscape.

As you climb further, the forest thins out and you feel that you are approaching the higher parts of Pirin.
Eventually, you reach the Yavorov Hut, beautifully situated and a popular resting place for hikers and mountain lovers.
The hut is a destination in itself, but it is also a perfect base for further trips deeper into Pirin.

This route is especially popular with walkers who enjoy a physically challenging climb, peace and nature, without busy paths or tourist hustle and bustle.
