We are the Groen family. Two years ago, we left the Netherlands for Bulgaria and now live in Dobrinishte, just six kilometres from Bansko. Since then, we have been enjoying the many hours of sunshine, the impressive mountain walks and the rich nature and culture that make this region so special.

Life in the mountains
The beautiful Razlog Valley lies between three impressive mountain ranges: the Rhodopes, Pirin and Rila.
The region is uniquely located just 160 kilometres from the capital Sofia and the same distance from Kavala and Thessaloniki in Greece.
This combination of mountains, nature and central location makes the region a special place to live, work and relax.
